With over a decade of experience in the art fraternity, Sublime Art Commissioning is a leading art consulting and installation studio based in Bangalore. We specialise in premium, end-to-end art solutions thoughtfully curated for hospitality, commercial, public, and residential spaces. THE STORY OF SANTI
- The piece, titled Santi, was created for Mulberry Shades Bengaluru Nandi Hills, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. Inspired by the nostalgic, fictional story of a young girl named Santi who grew up on a mulberry farm, the artwork reflects the resort’s philosophy of slow living and its intimate connection with nature. Here’s how we approached it.

- ✔Our central question was simple: How do you translate a childhood memory into something guests can see, feel, and emotionally connect with?
- ✔Santi’s world revolved around nature, quiet rhythms, and the beauty of everyday moments.
- ✔We knew the artwork had to feel alive — layered with small yet striking details that invited discovery.

ART CONCEPT DESIGNING
- ✔We translated the narrative into a visual language.
- ✔Earth tones were consciously chosen to evoke rootedness and warmth.
- ✔Human figures and animals were introduced to create movement and life.
- ✔Each element carried intention — nothing was incidental, everything had meaning.

CUSTOM ART CREATION
- ✔We identified an artist whose sensibility could express the emotional depth of Santi’s world.
- ✔The artwork was built layer by layer.
- ✔Every brushstroke was deliberate.
- ✔Up close, the details revealed intimacy and texture; from a distance, the composition felt harmonious and complete.

ART INSTALLATION
- ✔‘Santi’ was installed within the property’s dining space — a deliberate choice.
- ✔Before installation, we ensured the piece responded beautifully to the warm lighting and overall ambience.
- ✔The intention was for the artwork to become part of the dining experience.
- ✔Something guests could reflect on, discuss, and gently uncover over time.
